Joel Campbell heading for Arsenal exit

Costa Rica star Joel Campbell could make way from Arsenal in the winter transfer window having failed to cement his place in the first-team setup at the Emirates, The Mirror reports.

The 22-year-old has a great outing with the national side at the World Cup finals in Brazil over the summer, and many expected him to be a main fixture in the Gunners line-up this season.

However, Campbell has failed to prove his worth to the Gunners boss Arsene Wenger, and is now keen on a transfer away from the North London outfit in the New Year.

Campbell has yet to start a league match for the Gunners this season.
