Arsenal and Liverpool to rival for Cabaye's signature

Arsenal and Liverpool are set to battle it out for the services of French international Yohan Cabaye from Paris Saint-Germain in the winter transfer window, The Star reports.

Cabaye joined the Ligue 1 champions from Newcastle United in the summer of 2013, and has since then failed to cement his place in the starting line-up.

According to The Star, the Gunners and the Reds will try to outbid each other in order to land the signature of the French midfielder in the New Year.

The 28-year-old has made 24 appearances for Les Parisiens so far.
