Lionel Messi considering Chelsea switch next summer

Barcelona star forward Lionel Messi could make a shock to the Premier League with Chelsea next summer, according to a report.

The Argentine international scored a hat-trick during the club's 4-0 win at APOEL Nicosia, thereby breaking Raul's Champions League goalscoring record.

According to The Express, Messi is understood to be considering a stunning move away from the Catalan giants having been embroiled in a cash dispute.

The report adds that sportswear manufacturer Adidas could broke a deal which would see Messi join the Blues next season.

Barcelona have placed a £200m price tag on the Argentine superstar.
