Chelsea close in on Croatian striker

Chelsea are understood to be in crunch talks to sign Croatian striker Andrej Kramaric, according to a report.

The 23-year-old has attracted interest from a host of top clubs in Europe in recent months, having amassed an impressive tally of 28 goals in as many games for his club Rijeka this season.

The likes of Juventus and Tottenham Hotspur have been tracking the talented forward, but Croatian publication Sportske claims that the Blues are in advanced talks to secure the player's services in the New Year.

Chelsea are currently top of the Premier League with 36 points.
