Sevilla plan Juan Mata bid

Juan Mata has emerged as a top transfer target for La Liga side Sevilla in the upcoming transfer window, The Mirror reports.

The Spain international is believed to be on the radar of several clubs in Europe, with manager Louis van Gaal unwilling to offer the midfielder with regular first-team football.

According to The Mirror, the former Chelsea star could be the subject of a bid from Sevilla when the transfer window reopens in the New Year.

Mata scored the winning goal during United's 2-1 home win over Stoke City in the Premier League.
