Liverpool target to join Juventus

Barcelona defender Martin Montoya looks set to join Juventus when the transfer window reopens in January.

The Spanish defender had been constantly linked with a switch away from the Catalan giants last summer, with Liverpool among those interested in his services.

According to talkSPORT, Juve have won the race to secure the signature of talented defender after agreeing terms with Barca.

Montoya has struggled to earn sufficient game-time at Camp Nou this season, having made just one appearance for the club to date.
