Liverpool keen on signing James Milner

Liverpool are reportedly keen on securing the services of Manchester City midfielder James Milner on a free next summer.

The England international has played a regular part in the club's setup mainly due to injuries in the attack-front.

According to The Express, Milner could seek pastures elsewhere with his contract at the Etihad set to expire at the end of the season.

The report adds that the Reds are keen on signing the former Villa star next summer, with the Gunners also believed to be monitoring his transfer status.
