Arsenal keeping tabs on Mainz goalkeeper

Arsenal are tracking the progress of Mainz goalkeeper Loris Karius with a view to an offer for his services at the latter stages of the transfer window.

According to The Mirror, the Manchester City reject, who is the youngest goalkeeper in the Bundesliga is out-of-contract at the end of the season.

The report adds that the 21-year-old has pledged to remain at the German outfit till the conclusion of the current campaign, but the likes of Arsenal and Borussia Dortmund are mulling over an offer for the talented shot-stopper in the current transfer window.

Arsenal are currently sixth in the league standings following a dreadful performance by goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny in the 2-0 loss at Southampton.
