Leicester City to sign Shaun Maloney

Midfielder Shaun Maloney will complete a move from Wigan Athletic to Leicester City today. The popular Scottish international will make a move for a fee of around £1million.

Leicester City have beaten both Everton and Burnley for Maloney's signature, a real coup for the Foxes. The struggling club have been given a big budget to spend in this transfer window to help find players that might assist in the Foxes' top flight survival efforts.

Maloney will sign a two year contract with Leicester.
