Beattie joins Blades

Sheff Utd have signed Everton striker James Beattie in a deal worth around £4m. James Beattie joined Sheff Utd as well as Sydney FC winger David Carney.

The striker had been tracked by a number of clubs including Derby, Leicester and West Brom, but it appears Bryan Robson's Sheff Utd have won the race for the striker's signature.
