Hector Moreno on Arsenal radar

Arsenal are reportedly eyeing a January move for Mexican international Hector Moreno, according to The Express.

The 27-year-old has been on the radar of the likes of Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur in recent seasons, and The Express claims that the Gunners are keen on making a bid for the player's services this month.

The report adds that manager Arsene Wenger is worried by the club's lack of strength in central defence, and considers Moreno as the perfect fit to solve the crisis.

It is believed that the Gunners will make an initial offer of around £6m for the Espanyol defender.
