Rickie Lambert staying at Liverpool

Liverpool striker Rickie Lambert has been told that he must stay at the club for the remainder of the season. Hull City were amongst the teams linked with the England international striker.

Lambert had been mentioned as part of a swap deal with Burnley for young striker Danny Ings but that deal appeared to be a rumour.

Liverpool have now confirmed that Lambert must stay at the club for the entire campaign as the Anfield side continue their fight for Champions League qualification for next season.
