Man Utd plot move for Miranda

Manchester United are considering a bid for Atletico defender Miranda at the end of the season.

The Brazilian international has failed to cement his place in the first-team in recent months, with the likes of Diego Godin and Jose Gimenez favoured ahead of him in the pecking order.

According to Mundo Deportivo, Atletico are open to the sale of the talented centre-back, with the Red Devils favourites to secure the player's services.

In addition to this, United could make a bid of around £20m to sign up Miranda next summer.
