Schalke keen on signing Sami Khedira
Bundesliga side Schalke 04 are reportedly keen on landing the signature of German international Sami Khedira on a free transfer next summer.
Khedira's existing deal at Real Madrid expires at the end of the season, and the World Cup winner is likely to seek fresh pastures elsewhere.
According to German sports daily Bild, Schalke coach Horst Heldt has been in touch with the player's agent regarding the possible transfer.
Khedira has been previously linked with the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea and Bayern Munich.
