Premier League duo interested in Miroslav Klose

Aston Villa and Tottenham Hotspur could reportedly battle it out for the signature of German World Cup winner Miroslav Klose.

The veteran striker's existing deal at Lazio expires at the end of the current campaign, and there has been speculation that he could opt for a move to Premier League before calling quits to his career.

According to talkSPORT, Villa and Spurs have both expressed desire to sign up the 36-year-old, who has also been linked with a return to the Bundesliga.

Klose leads the World Cup goal-scoring charts with 16 goals.
