Atletico want Lukaku as Mandzukic replacement

Spanish giants Atletico Madrid want Everton's Romelu Lukaku as a summer replacement for outbound star Mario Mandzukic.

Mandzukic has been in good form for the Basque outfit this season, but manager Diego Simeone is understood to be keen on signing a player with a bigger future at the club.

According to The Sun, Belgian international Romelu Lukaku remains high on the list of targets for Atletico for the summer.

Lukaku joined the Toffees for a club-record fee of £28m from Chelsea last summer.
