Arsenal join Man Utd in Gundogan chase

Arsenal are ready to offer a stiff challenge to Manchester United for the services of Borussia Dortmund midfielder IIkay Gundogan during the summer transfer window.

The German international has signalled his intentions to leave Dortmund in the summer, having rejected a contract extension.

United have been deemed front-runners to land Gundogan's signature, but The Telegraph cites that the Gunners are most likely to provide stiff competition to their league rivals for the talented playmaker.

Dortmund currently value Gundogan at around £20m.
