Everton interested in Jonny Evans

Everton have become the latest club to be linked with a summer move for Manchester United defender Jonny Evans.

Evans has not featured for the Red Devils since his six-game ban for spitting at Newcastle United's Papiss Cisse last month.

Recent reports have revealed that the 26-year-old could be offloaded in the summer, should manager Louis van Gaal secure the services of Mats Hummels from Borussia Dortmund.

According to Goal.com, United are ready to do business with the Merseysiders, should they match their asking price of around £10m.
