Michael Essien set for Turkey move?
Former Chelsea midfielder Michael Essien looks set to join Greek giants Panathinaikos on a free transfer.
The Ghana international's existing deal at AC Milan expires at the end of the season, and talks have stalled over a contract extension.
According to Todomercadoweb, the midfield enforcer has been offered a two-year contract on wages of around £728,000 a year.
Essien has made just 10 starts for the Rossoneri since his move from Chelsea in 2014.
