Chelsea boss hopeful of Cech stay

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has insisted that he has no clue of goalkeeper Petr Cech being given permission to speak to his suitors regarding a summer transfer.

Cech's agent Viktor Kolar had earlier claimed that his client could speak to other clubs over a possible move, but Mourinho has revealed that he is still hopeful of retaining the player's services for next season.

"I don't know if it's true what the agent is saying, maybe it is, but Chelsea have an important say in the decision.

"I keep saying the same, I want my best players. Petr is one of my best, I would like him to stay. I have to say yes, I am optimistic that he can be here next year." Mourinho said in a press conference.
