Queen Park Rangers ready Lambert bid

Championship side Queens Park Rangers are keen on signing up Liverpool striker Rickie Lambert this summer.

The England international joined the Reds from Southampton last summer.

However, he has since then struggled to make impact at the Merseyside outfit, and is expected to be offloaded by the Reds in the summer.

The Hoops are likely to lose Charlie Austin to a Premier League club this summer, and manager Chris Ramsey is keen on bringing in Lambert to fill the void, Evening Standard reports.

It is yet to be revealed as to whether the 32-year-old would be willing to drop down to the Championship.
