Tottenham Hotspur announce Kevin Wimmer signing

Tottenham Hotspur have completed the signing of FC Koln defender Kevin Wimmer on a five-year deal.

The Austria international has earlier stated that he has agreed a summer move to White Hart Lane, but an official statement was yet to be made by Spurs regarding the transfer.

Spurs have now confirmed that the 22-year-old has put pen-to-paper on a five year contract, and will join the club once the transfer window reopens at the end of June.

Wimmer made 72 appearances for FC Koln.
