Liverpool plan Moussa Sissoko bid

Liverpool are plotting a summer move for Newcastle United striker Moussa Sissoko, according to an Italian source.

The France international has been a constant performer for the Tyneside outfit in recent seasons, and this has led to the speculation that he could well seek a move to a top European club this summer.

According to Tuttomercatoweb, the Reds are lining up a £17.1m offer for the former Toulouse star as they plan to boost their midfield options for the upcoming campaign.

Sissoko has made 81 appearances for the Magpies since his move from Toulouse in January 2013.
