Deco wants Mourinho

Portuguese international midfielder Deco has revealed he hopes that Jose Mourinho will be the next Barcelona boss. Frank Rijkaard has come under increasing pressure at Barca after failing to keep up the pace with La Liga leaders Real Madrid.

"It's hard for me to talk about it out of respect for our [Barcelona] coach," He began.

"But [Mourinho] is a manager from whom I learned a lot. We had two great seasons together in Porto where we won everything, and I learned so much from him. We were veyr happy.

"Certainly, working with him again some day would be fantastic. I don't know if it'll be next season, but I'd love to work with him again."

Deco added, "I'm sure that the fans would accept it well, and that everyone would be happy.

"I, too, would be happt. He's a great coach, he's a friend of mine, and he's given me great opportunities. If he moved here, I'd be pleased."
