Arsenal back in for Pedro?

Arsenal are reportedly in negotiations with Barcelona forward Pedro over a possible summer move.

The Spain international just signed a new deal to extend his stay at the Catalan giants until the summer of 2019.

Reports in Spain cite that the contract extension is considered as a ploy to increase his transfer value, should clubs come in for his signature this summer.

The Gunners are in talks with the player's representatives over a transfer, with Liverpool also monitoring the proceedings.The Reds are less likely to seal his services given the lack of Champions League football.

However, it is understood that Barca will not offload the talented winger unless he asks for a transfer request.
