Arturo Vidal agrees terms with Real Madrid
Chilean international Arturo Vidal has agreed personal terms with Real Madrid, following the lack of interest from Premier League clubs Arsenal and Manchester United.
The Juventus midfielder was understood to be keen on plying his trade in the Premier League, but the Gunners and Red Devils dropped interest in the 28-year-old following his drunk-driving incident in Santiago.
Chilean newspaper La Tercera cites that Los Blancos are not deterred by Vidal's off field issues, and have agreed personal terms with the player.
A transfer fee has yet to be agreed with the Turin giants.
Vidal is expected to feature for hosts Chile against Argentina in the Copa America final on Saturday night.
