Newcastle United agree Georginio Wijnaldum fee

Newcastle United have reportedly agreed on a transfer fee with PSV Eindhoven to sign highly-rated midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum.

The 24-year-old is regarded as a top target for Magpies boss Steve McClaren. who is keen on bolstering his attack front during the summer transfer window.

Multiple reports cite that the Magpies have agreed an undisclosed fee believed to be in the region of £16m to sign up the talented playmaker.

It is added that the Netherlands international has been allowed to discuss contract terms and have a medical at the Tyneside outfit.

Wijnaldum scored 18 goals in 42 games for PSV in all competitions last season.
