Angel di Maria close to PSG transfer

Star midfielder Angel di Maria is expected to make his way out of Manchester United in the current transfer window.

The Argentina international failed to impress in his debut season in the Premier League, as the pace of the game caught up with him.

Recent reports claimed that Di Maria could be shown the exit door following the arrivals of Morgan Schneiderlin and Bastian Schweinsteiger to Old Trafford.

The Star cites that Les Parisiens are expected to come up with an improved offer for Di Maria after their initial bid of £40m was rebuffed by United.

Di Maria joined the Red Devils for a club-record fee of £59.7m from Real Madrid last summer.
