Gordon in talks with Prem side

Scotland and Hearts goalkeeper Craig Gordon is in talks with a Premiership club over a possible move to England. Sunderland had been strongly linked with the international keeper, but a deal fell through at the last minute. Man Utd and Aston Villa are linked with the player.

The rumour is that any deal for Gordon could be worth up to £10m. Aston Villa could be chasing the player but rumours are circulating that Man Utd could be set to meet the asking price to make him their long term replacement for Edwin van der Sar.
