Man City plot Berahino swoop

Manchester City will look to beat their rivals to the signing of West Bromwich Albion striker Saido Berahino, The Mirror reports.

The former England Under-21 international was in good form for the Baggies last term as he netted 20 goals in all competitions.

Tottenham Hotspur have shown keen interested in the Burundian-born English striker, but The Mirror cites that the Citizens are ready to provide competition to Spurs in the chase for the player's services.
