Chelsea bid for Koke

Chelsea have reportedly made a £46m bid for Atletico Madrid sensation Koke, which has been swiftly rebuffed by the La Liga side.

The Spain international has been a key member at the Basque outfit in recent seasons, and manager Diego Simeone is keen on keeping his top talents at the club for the new season.

According to Spanish publication Marca, the Premier League champions had made a huge offer of around £46m for the talented playmaker, but Atleti were unwilling to part with the player in the transfer window.

Chelsea started off their Premier League campaign with a 2-2 draw against Swansea city at Stamford Bridge.
