Denis Cheryshev set for Real Madrid stay

Russian forward Denis Cheryshev is expected to remain at Real Madrid beyond the summer transfer window.

The 24-year-old has been tipped to exit the Bernabeu this summer, with Liverpool keen on securing his services.

However, Spanish publication AS cites that the meeting between Cheryshev and the club's officials went on a positive note, and the player is most likely to stay put at Real for the season.

Cheryshev made 40 appearances for Spanish side Villareal on loan last season.
