Watford complete Alessandro Diamanti signing

Premier League newcomers Watford have sealed the services of midfielder Alessandro Diamanti from Guangzhou Evergrande on a season-long loan.

The 32-year-old was speculated to be closing in on a move to Vicarage Road earlier in the summer, and it has now been confirmed that both clubs have now come to agreement on a temporary transfer.

The Italy international will provide the necessary boost for the Hornets in the ongoing league campaign.

Diamanti previously plyed his trade with West Ham United during the 2009/10 season.
