Hamburg midfielder Rafael van der Vaart will be looking to leave the club in the summer. The Dutch midfielder has been the subject of interest from Chelsea, Juventus, Liverpool, Man Utd, Real Madrid and Barcelona this winter.

“I want to go to a top club,” declared Van der Vaart. “I want to get to know another country.”

“I hope to win something and finish the season well. I have a contract until 2010. I could leave but then again I could also continue to play here next year.”

Hamburg President Bernd Hoffmann has conceded that it will be very difficult for him to prevent Van der Vaart from leaving at the end of the season.

“Most likely Rafael will leave in the summer,” he admitted.
