Juventus want Alex Song

Juventus are weighing up a bid for Barcelona midfielder Alex Song, according to an Italian source.

The former Cameroon international was expected to seal a permanent move to West Ham United following a successful loan stint last season.

However, the Hammers officials pulled out of a deal for the former Arsenal man as he required a surgery to remove a piece of floating bone from his ankle. 

Italian publication Tuttosport now claims that the Old Lady are ready to a risk and sign the midfield enforcer before Tuesday's transfer deadline.

Song made 31 appearances for the Hammers last term.
