David de Gea ready to sign new Man Utd deal
Spain international David de Gea is reportedly ready to put pen to paper on a new long-term contract.
The 24-year-old had been tipped to make a dream move to Real Madrid all summer, but the transfer did not pan out with the clubs blaming each other for delayed submission of paperwork having missed the Spanish transfer deadline.
According to The Telegraph, De Gea has come over his disappointment and is now keen on committing his long-term future to the Mancunian giants.
It is added that the former Atleti star make his first league start against Liverpool in Saturday's derby at Old Trafford.
