Chelsea to sign Nicolas N'Koulou

Chelsea are thought to have agreed a fee to sign Marseille defender Nicolas N'Koulou, according to reports.

The Cameroon international is in the final year of his contract at Marseille, and there have been talks that the Ligue 1 side could offload him in the New Year for a bargain price.

Reports in France now cite that the Blues have agreed a fee of around £7m for the talented central defender, who has been key to his club's progress in recent seasons.

N'Koulou joined Les Olympiens from Monaco in 2011.
