Man Utd target Shkodran Mustafi

Manchester United have reportedly joined the likes of Bayern Munich and Barcelona in the chase for Valencia star Shkodran Mustafi.

The German international has been in top form ever since his switch away from Schalke in 2014.

His performances have not gone unnoticed with top clubs in Bayern Munich and Barcelona tracking his performances in recent months.

According to The Express, the 23-year-old may well seek a fresh challenge at a top European side in the New Year.

It is added that the Red Devils are ready to battle it out with Europe's best to land the services of the central defender.

Mustafi currently has a £37m release clause in his contract.
