Man Utd interested in Ayoze Perez

Manchester United are thought to be eyeing up a move for Newcastle United striker Ayoze Perez.

The 22-year-old joined the Magpies from Tenerife in 2014, and has since then been a regular fixture in the starting line-up.

According to The Newcastle Chronicle, the Mancunian giants have sent scouts to keep track on the player's progress on several occasions over the past year.

It is also thought that United could make a formal approach for the young forward next summer.

Perez was one of the bright lights for the Tyneside outfit in what was a disastrous 2014/15 league campaign, where they finished 15th overall.
