Torino explore Diamanti deal

Torino are eager to bring Watford striker Alessandro Diamanti back to Serie A, according to reports.

The 32-year-old joined the Hornets on a season-long loan from Chinese side Guangzhou Evergrande over the summer.

However, he has since then struggled to cement a regular starting role with manager Quique Flores favouring the likes of Troy Deeney and Odion Ighalo ahead of him in the pecking order.

Sources in Italy now claim that Diamanti could be heading to Torino on loan in the winter transfer window.

Diamanti has made just two league appearances for the Hornets this campaign.
