Lille want Yoan Gouffran

Ligue 1 side Lille are planning a winter bid for out-of-favour Newcastle United forward Yoan Gouffran.

The 29-year-old started as a regular for the Magpies following his switch from Bordeaux in 2013.

However, he has gone off the boil over the past year, and he is now deemed surplus to requirements at St.James Park.

The Chronicle now claims that the French outfit have Gouffran at the top of their winter shortlist.

It is added that the experienced striker could be available on a bargain price of around £500,000 this winter.

Gouffran has made a single league start for his club this campaign.
