Aston Villa to terminate Tiago Ilori loan

Aston Villa look set to terminate the loan contract of Liverpool defender Tiago Ilori.

The 22-year-old joined the Villains on a season-long loan in the summer, and has since then failed to make a single appearance for struggling Midlands outfit.

According to The Telegraph, Ilori will be heading back to his parent club with manager Remi Garde not convinced of the player's ability.

It is added that the club will look to pursue other options in January as they seek to make a miraculous relegation escape during the second-half of the season,

Ilori has yet to make a competitive match appearance for the Reds.
