Mousa Dembele signs new Tottenham deal

Belgian international Mousa Dembele has signed a new deal to keep him at Tottenham Hotspur until 2018.

The 28-year-old had been linked with a move away from White Hart Lane over the summer, but he opted to stay put at the club. Since then, he has been in fine form for the North London outfit, and this has earned him a contract extension.

"The way we're playing, the way the club is developing, everything is very good and everyone wants to be part of this team and this club," he told the club's official website.

"That's why I am proud to extend my contract."

Dembele has netted three goals in the Premier League this season.
