Chelsea reject Oscar bid

Chelsea are reported to have rebuffed a mega-offer from Chinese side Jiansu Suning for midfielder Oscar.

The Blues had recently confirmed the sale of Brazilian midfielder Ramires to the Chinese Super League outfit.

According to The Sun, Jiangsu had lodged a record bid of around £57m bid to land Ramires' former teammate Oscar.

However, the Blues are known to have rejected the approach as they consider the player to be a part of the club's long-term plans.

Reports elsewhere claim that Shakhtar Donetsk ace Alex Teixeira is close to sealing a switch to the Asian spenders.

Teams from the Far East have until February 26 to complete their transfer business.
