Yakubu wanted by Everton

Middlesbrough striker Yakubu is wanted by Everton. The Nigerian striker has been chased by several very large Premiership sides including Arsenal, Man City and Aston Villa this summer.

Everton have money to spend but Yakubu has a very hefty asking price that David Moyes may baulk at. The fee could be up to £16m and Yakubu has already been ordered to stay at the club after several bids were rejected in June.
