Louis van Gaal set for Man Utd stay

Louis van Gaal is likely to stay put at Manchester United until the expiry of his contract next season.

The Netherlands international had been tipped to make way from Old Trafford following he club's dismal start to the Premier League campaign.

However, the club have shown signs of development in recent weeks, and this is said to turned the Dutchman's fortunes at Manchester.

The Mirror claims that the 64-year-old is most likely to see out the last year of his contract next term before he calls quits on his managerial career.

United are currently sixth in the Premier League, three points adrift of fourth-placed Manchester City.
