Fred linked with Spurs

Lyon striker Fred has been linked with a move to Tottenham and will meet within the next 2 days to discuss a potential move with Tottenham's board of directors and Damien Comolli.

Fred's brother and agent Rodrigo confirmed that they would be meeting Spurs' director of football Damien Comolli in the next day or so.

"Yes we are due to meet with Damien Comolli, he will come with a new offer," Rodrigo told L'Equipe.

"If it [the offer] is good, Fred will sign for Tottenham."
