Arsenal eye Higuain signing
Arsenal are still considering a summer bid for Napoli striker Gonzalo Higuain, The Sun reveals. The Argentina international was the subject of interest from the Gunners before he opted to join Napoli from Real Madrid in 2013.
Since then, Higuain has been a consistent performer in the Italian league, and this has earned him plaudits from the Naples' faithful.
According to The Sun, the Gunners could come back for Higuain this summer following reports that the 28-year-old is eager to ply his trade in a new league.
However, the North London giants are likely to face competition with the likes of Chelsea and Manchester United also in contention to land his signature.
Higuain is said to be unsettled at Napoli after club president Aurelio di Laurentiis claimed that he had put on weight in recent months.
The talented marksman is currently valued at around £40m.
