Man Utd step up Kroos interest

Manchester United are the latest Premier League side to express interest in signing Real Madrid playmaker Toni Kroos. The German international has been the subject of speculation in recent weeks with the likes of Arsenal, Liverpool and Paris Saint-Germain linked with his services.

The Red Devils have had a mixed season in the top tier this season, and this is likely to tempt the club's hierarchy to go on yet another spending spree this summer.

RMC says the Mancunian giants will look to pursue a move for World Cup winner Kroos as they seek to add more creativity to their midfield for the next campaign,

However, Louis van Gaal's side are unlikely to have an easy path with French giant Paris Saint-Germain known to have already opened talks with the versatile attacker.

Kroos is currently valued at around £40m at Los Blancos.
