Everton reluctant to sell Lukaku
Everton are ready to resist offers in the region of £50m for top striker Romelu Lukaku. The Belgian international has been in stunning form for the Toffees since his move from Chelsea in 2013.
Lukaku joined the Toffees on a season-long loan from the Blues in 2013, before making the move a permanent one for £28m last season.
The 22-year-old has been the subject of transfer speculation recently after he admitted his desire to play for a Champions League club.
However, The Mirror suggests that the Merseysiders are unlikely to accept the player's sale unless any side comes up with a substantial offer in excess of £50m.
Lukaku has amassed 25 goals and six assists for Roberto Martinez's side this term.
